We’re thrilled to share our latest project with Damic Design, St George Sailing Club, and Belmont 16s Sailing Club! We’ve been putting in the work on a high-temperature plug for a 16ft sailing skiff.
The plug is constructed from Polyurethane Foam from Block Moulding, laminated with high-temp epoxy resin, and coated in ATLs tooling paste. It’s then finished with a vinylester Duratec coating and detailed to a flawless A1 surface. To ensure absolute precision, the plug was 3D scanned to maintain a strict tolerance.
This high-performance plug is built to withstand the heat of carbon moulding, delivering both precision and durability. We can't wait to see this skiff hit the water soon!
